Charlotte Birks

Charlotte is a Director within Good Relations’ consumer division where she is responsible for client success and agency performance, with a focus on delivery, growth and measurement. Charlotte has worked for some of the UK’s best known brands including B&Q, Halfords, Subway, SodaStream, Celebrity Cruises, Tourism Australia, L’Oreal and Hello Fresh.

Outside of her client work, Charlotte has been recognised in PRWeek’s 30 under 30 and awarded a scholarship as part of WACL’s ‘Future Leaders’ scheme. He was recognized in the Industry as he was a speaker at Digital Shoreditch 2015 discussing the present and future impact of the Internet of Things, and connectivity in health and is currently on the PM Society digital interest group, informing industry direction of digital thought-leadership and innovation.

Richard Bagnall

Richard has advised international clients on the best ways to measure the effectiveness of PR and communications for 25 years. He has built or led some of the world’s best-known communications measurement consultancies, including Metrica, Gorkana and PRIME Research. Richard began his career in public relations with roles at Saatchi and Saatchi’s PR consultancy, The Rowland Company, and medical charity the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Richard has been a board director of communications evaluation global trade association AMEC for over 10 years and has served as chair for the last 5 years. He has contributed to several business books on measuring communications and is an active long-term member of the UK Government’s GCS / Cabinet Office Evaluation Council. In 2013 he co-authored the UK government’s Capability Review of Digital Communications.

Richard is a Fellow of the PRCA and member of its PR & Communications Council, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, an Honorary Lifetime Fellow of AMEC and was inducted into PR News’ Measurement Hall of Fame in 2017.

Gillian joined Weber Shandwick in 2014 and leads social impact and global health projects for clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Citizen, Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & Malaria, Plan International and GSK. Her focus areas include global campaigning, creative, behaviour change, and resource mobilisation with expertise in infectious diseases, inequality, vaccines, gender, and malnutrition.

Recently, Gillian led the international team for One World: Together at Home, a COVID-19 benefit concert from Global Citizen to raise funds for the WHO, curated by Lady Gaga as well as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & malaria’s 6th Replenishment Campaign, hosted by President Macron of France.  With a speciality in managing global teams Gillian has worked in Abuja, Nairobi, Abidjan, Kinshasa, Mexico City, Delhi, Dhaka and Hanoi, among others. In 2016, she was seconded to the Johannesburg office where she worked on projects for Save the Children, the RTS,S malaria vaccine, GSK South Africa and nutrition projects for the United Nations including capacity building in local communities.

Previously, Gillian worked for Carr Communications in Dublin, Congressman Patrick Kennedy in Washington D.C and for the American Medical Association in Chicago. She has a degree in Economics and Political Science and a Master’s in Media and International Conflict.

Jody is PR partner at 23red, a purpose-driven creative agency. Specialising in behaviour change campaigns that change people’s lives for the better, Jody has launched several movements including Change4Life, Stoptober and Dementia Friends.  Jody’s current clients include Open University, GamCare and several government departments.

Matt Brown

Matt is Director of News & External Relations at TfL, where he runs the Media Relations, Government Relations, Corporate Comms and Stakeholder Advocacy & Engagement departments.

In nearly a decade at TfL he has led media and PR work including the launch of London’s Night Tube, the 150th anniversary of London Underground, and the launch of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone. He has now playing a central role in TfL’s comms handling of the coronavirus pandemic, and the TfL Press Office was named the best in-house PR team in the country in the recent prestigious PR Week Awards.

For the last decade his team has run a paid internship encouraging BAME people into PR, and the programme has expanded this year to bring new diverse talent into other areas of comms within TfL.

Before TfL, Matt worked for the Mayor of London’s Press Office; two years under Ken Livingstone and two years under Boris Johnson. He has also worked in media relations for the children’s charity Barnardo’s and for the online political think tank Open Democracy.

Tahmina Mannan

Tahmina joined Hanbury Strategy from S&P Global where she lead on corporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Innovation communications. Prior to that, she headed up external communications for S&P Global Market Intelligence across EMEA. Tahmina is a former financial journalist and has previously worked in-house and at an agency.

Anna Speight

Kulbir Sandhu

Kulbir is a Communications Consultant working primarily in the health and wellbeing space.
